Public Interest Technology Showcase
Moderated by Dr. Susan Aaronson, Director of the Digital Trade and Data Governance Hub, the Public Interest Technology panel will provide snapshots of research being conducted in this area and its impact in the world.
The professional field of public interest technology is working to shape the way we think about technology to solve public problems in an inclusive and impactful manner. This cross-cutting field of research brings together disciplines such as engineering, data science, humanities, public policy and law. Panelists will include:

- Dr. Alexa Alice Joubin, Professor of English, Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Theatre, East Asian Languages and Literatures, and International Affairs
